Of interest to relatives and friends in Unity was the marriage Saturday afternoon at Marshfield of Miss Maxine Salter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore R. Salter, Marshfield, former Unity residents, and Donald Olson, Rhinelander.
Miss Georgette Walther, of Sturgeon Bay was maid of honor and the bridesmaids were the Misses Betty and Sally Salter.
Kenrall Finger, Rhinelander, was best man and Pfc. Wayne Salter, cousin of the bride, of Camp McCoy, and Douglas Sutton of Rhinelander were ushers.
A reception and buffet supper were held at Hotel Charles following the ceremony.
The bride is employed in the office of an accountant in Marshfield and her husband has been engaged to teach commercial subjects at Granton for this school year.
Following a honeymoon in northern Wisconsin the young couple will make their home in Marshfield.
The Register joins their many local friends in extending congratulations and best wishes for a long and happy wedded life.
